Combo Classes

A class dedicated to exploring two or four styles & technique each time the dancers meet in the studio.

  • All DbD dancers are required to purchase shoes & tights from the dance studio.

  • Ballet/PBT Dress Code: Solid color leotard (skirt/tutu allowed, prefer attached); convertible pink tights and pink ballet shoes from studio; hair secured up and back

  • Ballet/Jazz Dress Code: Solid color leotard (skirt/tutu allowed, prefer attached); pink tights and pink ballet & skin tone jazz shoes from studio; hair secured up and back

  • Lyrical/Acro Dress Code: Solid color leotard (NO skirt/tutu allowed) with black bike shorts; tan CONVERTIBLE tights and tan jazz shoes from studio; hair secured up and back

  • Hip Hop/Jazz Dress Code: Solid color leotard (skirt/tutu allowed, prefer attached); skin ton tights and skin tone jazz shoes from studio and sparkle hip hop shoes from studio; hair secured up and back

  • Musical Theater/Tap Dress Code: Solid color leotard (skirt/tutu allowed, prefer attached); skin tone tights and skin tone jazz shoes from studio and tan tap shoes from studio; hair secured up and back

  • No jewelry allowed; tights MUST be worn with any shorts; no midriffs to be shown

  • Boys Dress Code: solid color fitted tee, black fitted pants/leggings, black dance shoes

  • PERFORMS Turkey dance in the studio, one style in Christmas Festival, and the other style in the June recital

 

Stylized Technique Classes

Creating good dancers and good people who strive to be a light in the world.

Classes dedicated to helping your child discover dance through technique, music, and socialization. Complementary styles are scheduled back to back to allow students to explore multiple styles. All classes within the level will perform in the same show in the June recital.

Add 1 class for 30% discount, 3rd class for 40% discount, 4th class for 50% discount; More chances to dance on the stage for the christmas & June recitals.

  • Tap Dress Code: Solid color leotard (skirt/tutu allowed, prefer attached); skin tone tights and tan tap shoes from studio; black bike shorts or leggings can be worn over tights; hair secured up and back

  • Hip Hop Dress Code: Black Leotard OR black exercise top; BLACK leggings; tights or socks and hip hop shoes from studio; hair secured up and back

  • Musical Theatre Dress Code: Solid color leotard (skirt/tutu allowed, NO shorts); tan tights and tan jazz shoes; hair secured up and back

  • Dancers PERFORM IN THE DBD CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL AT THE NB CIVIC/CONVENTION CENTER

  • All Spark classes perform in Show 1 IN THE JUNE RECITAL AT THE TOBIN CENTER, SAN ANTONIO

 

“1” classes are taught to all levels, “2” & “3” classes are taught to the level of the most advanced dancers in the class and move at a quicker pace
