Lyrical: A mix of ballet & jazz. Movements are inspired by the lyrics of the song and telling the story or conveying emotion.
Contemporary: A mix of modern & jazz. Movements are inspired by emotion and push the normal dance boundaries.

Membership Fee: $80/family (due at time of registration + $75 may tuition deposit)
All DbD dancers are required to purchase shoes & tights from the dance studio.
Solid color leotard (skirt/tutu ok but prefer attached) or solid color exercise top with black leggings. Black bike shorts can be worn with skin tone tights. Skin tone jazz shoes and skin tone tights from studio. Hair secured away from face. No jewelry. Shine & Illuminate Lyrical & Contemporary wears ½ soles.
*No jewelry allowed; tights MUST be worn with any shorts; no midriffs to be shown
